photo i took of a “little” butterfly in Ellicott City in maryland… from gail’s garden. i don’t normally add words and stuff to my photos but i figured i’d give this one a shot…
this is probably one of my favorite houses back home… as a kid i used to fantasize that i lived in that house… whenever i’d go running or body boarding down there, i would stop and have a little moment… call me cheesy, but there was just something about that house that i found so nostalgic and awesome… i miss you little house!!!

between the ages of 13 to 18 i really wanted one of these:
my cousin and i used to talk about it all the time… being from Hawaii, and being the kids that we were, all we thought about was the beach and being in the water… surfing… even though i suck at surfing, i was always at the beach… body boarding at least. i saw the ultimate vw bus at one of the auto shows when i was in HS, it had the whole picnic-type set up with the overhanging visor and everything… it was awesome.
anyway, apparently 9 years ago vw came out with this microbus concept car:
i have to say, i don’t mind the appearance of the concept microbus… but i’m a sucker for the original… like most other things. i still wouldn’t mind riding around in one—if only i could clean up its carbon footprint and add a kick ass a/c system!
